How do I progress Delver's Journey?

I’ve done 8 bountiful 8 delves so far this week, among others. Why do I only have one bar of progress? Is this time gated? Thanks!

Not timed gated. Delve progress is broken right now. Blizz is being quiet about it.

That’s about how far mine got as well, OP. I don’t know the answer though. Did they ever give any indication of how fast it should progress? Or what it’s based on? Like do we get more progress from a delve if we don’t die at all?
