How do i level without flying (icecrown/stormpeak)

they’re accessible at level 25, but flying is at 30. what do i do i need help i need these zones for lore masterino

You’re going to have to quest a bit more. Those zones were made for end-game of your expac.

Have you completed all other Northrend zones?

If I recall correctly, you were given a special mount to do those zones with. Of course, that was … back when it was new.

IIRC it was Borean Tundra/Howling Fjord for your first zone and then Dragonblight which would eventually open up for Scholazar, Grizzy Hills, and Zul’drek. If you haven’t gone through all of those zones then that’s where I’d go.

No way this happened if its a new character.

My mag’har got from 10 to like…40-45 I think? just in Borean tundra.

This is correct. There are far more quests in Northrend than any single character could complete while leveling up. I got Loremaster at the beginning of BfA. Zul’drak has thousands of quests alone. Or at least it feels that way.

Not on a new character. But he might have previously completed them for earlier progress to his achieve.

In any case, the solution is to do a few quests or dungeons.

It can be done. There’s paths everywhere.

I think when first getting there it was 60 and we had to level 10 levels to get flying.

Or am I misunderstanding something?

Is it on another character? If so, just level to 30.

Don’t you have to fly up to the ship at some point?

I think you can still get a loaner gryphon in Storm Peaks.

70 to 77 was no flight, then you got cold weather flying. The OP gets that, but guessing he was given a bread crumb quest to Storm Peaks and/or Icecrown and both of those zones are designed with the idea that you’ll have flying.

He just needs to stay out of there until he gets to 30.

That’s later if you go zone by zone. Once leaving Borean Tundra or next zone for that matter, flying should be available.

So yes he’d need flying to do Ice Crown or Storm Peaks.
The ship in Ice Crown is reached at first by a quest in Dalaran. Thereafter you need flying.

Not sure if it still works, but this is from Wowhead:

Wowhead still shows the loaner mounts as in game, you should still be able to get them at K3 if they are.

edit: beat me with a link

Been awhile since Wrath. I thought 70 but didn’t feel it was right. Thank you.
The Dalaran quest I think.

Well 11 yrs later I finally find out I didn’t have to die as often as I did.
I never knew I didn’t have to travel grounded…lol “Palm to face”
