How do I let go of a former main?

Lunnaya is going to be my former main. Shadow priest is going to play my new main.

After years of playing Lunnaya, I feel attached to her, and saddened that I must let her go.

I’m switching mains because dk dps is a shadow of its former self right now. Unholy is okay, just not fun anymore without dark arbiter. Frost lost everything when BFA hit, whatever that they gained in Legion, they lost.

I’m just saddened that after all these years with my main, that I have to hang up the gloves with her.

I’ll still use her to try to get the season 2 pvp mount, but that’s it. It’s even hard for me to log into her now.

Apologize my ignorance, but, isn’t it just a case of playing one, logging off, and playing the other?

Lunnaya will still be there, right?

Dear former main,

I no longer have use for you. It has been a pleasure we had our ups and downs…but it is time I move on.

I played frost DK during Legion and loved it

I still play thr DK time to time

I bounce around between ret paladin, enhancement shaman and now arms warrior

How is Lunnaya your main when you have 0 raid progression and you’re unranked in PvP? Just wondering

I do world content and lfr. Haven’t done lfr in a while though, bfa has kinda been meh raiding wise. Nothing really exciting going on to do lfr

What got me back in BfA was playing a gnome warrior

I’m a little tiny thing and killing things taller than me

Gets me alot of fun in BGs :rofl:

Speaking from experience, you can’t, I am just waiting for tomorrow so I can restore my filthy human paladin, he was my first character and unfortunately, I can’t really stop playing him, I guess he still has my favorite class fantasy of any available.

You are probably experiencing boredom not because of the class, but the content you’re doing. Both lfr and world quests are just mind numbing.

And the fact that classes are currently less then entertaining with all the pruning and streamlining also helps the boredom.

Pretty sure it’s the class.

Frost- Has a boring spamming rotation and hit the blinks
Unholy- Just dropping your diseases, empowering your ghoul, pop wounds, and summon army and Abomb. Might seem fun at first, but gets old quickly

You do it by not making a big dramatic deal over something that doesn’t matter
