How do I know when I should cleanse corruption from an item?

Hi friends,

I just got an iLvl 470 upgrade from my M+ cache that has the twilight beam corruption. This puts me over into about 60+ corruption, even with all my resistance. I have 3 other corrupted pieces that have stat bonus procs.

How do I know which corruptions I should keep? Does simulating or use raidbots tell me what I should do?

Yes you can click purify as an option in raidbots and it will sim the best corruptions to keep with your corruption budget.

I usually just check Icy Veins or any other guide for what my best corruptions are and aren’t.

But normally, I just stick to stat increase corruptions.

If it has corruption you should cleanse it.

In a week or so, it won’t matter. Depends on what you are trying to go for. Personally I rock the corruption and play around it. If you after stats, cleanse the piece.

If you’re not a tank or DH, Twilight Devastation is useless to you compared to other high end corruptions like Infinite Stars, which procs way more often.

in 2 weeks it won’t matter, corruption is being removed in prepatch

Keep it and swap as needed for when you need dps vs mitigation if your a tank

You get rid of corruptions when the amount of corruption starts killing you.
