How Do I Hide a User's Posts?

On the old forums it was very easy to blanket hide a specific user’s posts. There are a couple of people whose posts rarely are too positive, and I’m just wondering if on these new forums we can also hide their posts so they’ll just be skipped over in threads going forward.

You’re looking much to alive and fleshy. Whatever happened to you, my graven raven?

lol what? Do you know how to block people on this?

You don’t. Not yet anyway. Discourse doesn’t have an /ignore feature, but Blizzard’s web team is working to develop one for us, if they can.

For now, you’ll just have to scroll past, sorry.

Were you not a Forsaken Hunter just yesterday? I miss those maggot holes and sightly bones.

And I suppose I should tell you that currently, no you cannot ignore people.

Thought I saw something but it’s Mute notifications from specific users. Not sure what that does exactly but it’s under your Preferences.

That just keeps you from getting a notification when the blocked party replies to you or @'s you in a thread. Limited usefulness, but beats a blank if someone likes to jerk your chain.

Ohhh that guy, yes I saw him right before the forums switched, I believe his name was Arron. That’s not me. I got this name randomly a long time ago and leveled him because I liked the Keeshan bandana.

Sorry to disappoint if he was your friend or something

(legit though, this isn’t an alt of mine, lol)

Well, clearly one of us is going to have to (pay for a race) change.

Are you telling me that there are two of you?! I’m quivering at the mere thought of what this means for the three of us. One undead, one Human and one Voidling oreo cookie sandwich.

You can mute people - muting people keeps you from being notified about their activity - it does not ignore them - there is currently no ignore feature on these forums - I’ve taken a screenshot on where to mute people:

Well really saying one is human and the other is undead is repetitive.

I suppose the same would go for anything alive and anything undead

But killing something does change its race.

See? Same thing. Clearly.

Don’t @ me.
