What triggers Theramore being destroyed?
If i talk to Zidormi and say let me see the past, the tower is standing (as expected), then I talk to Zidormi and say return me to the present and the tower is still there. I have already completed the Theramore scenario by talking to Loremaster Fu and I have the Theramore’s Fall scenario achievement.
Know this is 3 days ago but I have the same bug, its just not phasing. I get the debuff that says I go through time and all.
Its one of the questline from Mists; I forget where exactly it starts though.
Seems to be bugged. I havew the Theramore’s Fall achievement from MoP and i still cant get it to show now, even when i talk to Zidormi and reset the game. Could be that the blue dragon quest broke it or something
A mana bomb usually.
Is this happening to everyone? I had not noticed it until I ported my mage there for the Secrets of Azeroth. Shocked the hell out of me to see Theramore intact and thriving.
Maybe it’s some weirdo Chromie Time thing? Theramore didn’t eat a bucket of sunshine until the run-up to Mists of Pandaria. So if you leveled through an earlier expansion than that, you’ve never properly triggered the event.
Well, I know that when this very same mage used to port there, I always got the destroyed crater phase of Theramore. This just began happening.
This is happening on my level 70 mage and I only found out lately because of going there for the Secrets. It’s the pre-cata version of Theramore and when I found Zidormi, she said would you like to see the old version (I tried toggling it a few times and it did not change). The old NPC for Jaina is in the tower along with all the old trainer NPCs. It says in my log that I have done 7/7 of the Dustwallow Marsh campaign and no quests are available. It’s just a real time capsule. I am gong to check and make sure the Thousand Needles are post-Cata. Update: Thousand Needles is post-cata. Also Darnassus when I teleport to it is still destroyed. It’s just affecting Theramore.

I thought it was just me because I can’t find anyone to change the timeline sadly 
a quest from DF content sends you there, and phases things.
i can’t recall which quest it is/was
perhaps see if the map is showing any active quests in the area?
