I could start just targeting people at random with the charter but I think that’s rude. Is that what people normally do?
Many people do that, though I agree with you that it’s rude. How long have you been trying to buy signatories for?
I forget the command, but you can bring up a list of every player in your current zone, then sort by guild, no guild will be at the top,
So walk into org, then just go down the list inviting every player in org that doesn’t have a guild
Haha, that’s what happened to me. I was even in the middle of combat. I just clicked the button to get it off my screen, then forgot about it until I noticed a message that I was in a guild, half an hour later.
I didn’t know how to quit the guild, so I just stayed. As it turns out, they’re cool people.
Where abouts are you trying to get sigs? Maybe try Brill or Org?
Or maybe head to another starting area and try there - last night I bumped into a nelf in the human starting area and everyone was clamouring to sign her charter. Maybe it was the novelty or maybe because she stood out? YMMV.
