How do I get scrolling combat text back?

I had it yesterday, did some BGs and it vanished, and now I still don’t have it.

I don’t mean “scrolling combat text on you” which only shows healing received for some reason- I mean damage text.

I hit things and there’s no numbers. My other toons don’t have this issue.

try typing this in on your toons
/console floatingCombatTextCombatDamage 1

That activated it, but it is definitely still odd.
Very small and the number like, shoot downwards and to the left instantly.

I’ll get an addon. Thank you.

There’s an addon call Advanced Interface Options. It has a section specifically for combat text. It seem to be working fine at the moment.
