How do I get rid of the "Helping Joel Hotrocket" buff?

It appeared during a quest, now it won’t go away. It leaves an ExtraActionButton in the middle of my screen.

I have this same issue and have tried pretty much everything. Deleting wtf/interface/cache. Disabling addons. Zoning. Deleting and undeleting the character. No idea yet.

When I get home, if it’s still there, I’m going to put in a GM ticket. Maybe they can remove that buff with their GM game privileges.

Well now I’m a bit embarrassed because I decided to try bricking my M+ key to see if it would wipe buffs, and while that didn’t work, running into the first pull and dying did. So probably something I should have tried earlier, but I was at least able to get rid of it by getting myself killed. Hopefully that works for you because a GM ticket did not work for me.

I could NOT complete the quest. I was litterally ON TOP of the dude!! So I had a dang Green arrow in middle of screen. UP where BUFFS are I forget the name of it just click it off an arrow is gone. Hoping later I can get anothe rquest for that since i was at 7 an need 10. Gotta LOVE new content.
