Is it a bug? My pets health bar, thats usually under my name plate is missing. Have no idea when to heal them. Could someone help me out please?

I’d try a full UI reset before delving into anything deeper. A full UI reset is quick, easy, reversible, and can solve many display issues - including missing health bars.

The pet health bar is usually a setting saved server-side, yet it can be affected by add-ons or damaged files. The UI reset shared already in this thread may help, yet before doing that, I’d recommend resetting those server side settings. That’s done with a command typed into your chat. That command is:
/console cvar_default
It may give an error after pressing enter, yet it should still do what it’s intended. If you find the health bar is still missing, then try that UI reset along with logging in with the default UI only. If by chance it persists, try the above command while using that default UI.

anyone else still having problem? My pet health bar still disappear after I got off a vehicle. It will fix itself after I rezone… but it’s getting annoying. I tried /console cvar_default and it didnt fix the problem.

Yes, i am still having the problem. I have done everything suggested in this thread, and i still have it vanish. I have been use to having to recall my pets after using Petrodox Swoop, or after having a NPC help me do a quest, but the bar vanishes even after just dismounting whatever i am riding as my mount. Started right after 9.1.5 dropped.
I have this issue happening with this hunter…I just do /reload and it usually brings back the pet health bar…I detest doing Full reset of UI…its a royal pita to do.

I do the same thing. But we should not have to /rl. It should get fixed. I even tried with all addons off, and it still does it.
Yes it should be fixed but we all know right now other things are more important to Blizzard then fix this issue and the battlenet loop issue…got to get those fruit paintings up first.

Doing both the console reset command he listed and doing a full ui reset as described in the link should fix this. If you want to be able to restore your UI in case it doesn’t work, you can just re-name the three folders and test. If it stops happening then it is a UI problem.
