I’m really confused and need some guidance on how to get from Renown 41 to 44. Do I just keep doing the avalanche of quests in the Maw and Korthia? Or will the Night Fae give me more things to do? The tracker on my character says I need renowned 44 to move forward in the Cains of Domination campaign and I have no idea what I need to do.
You wait until next week. The cap this week is 42 despite there being 3 available renown quests. Glad I could help even though I too am confused about why there are 3 renown quests and only 2 renown to be earned this week.
Thank you for that. Do you know where the renown quest come from? The covenant, the Maw, or Korthia? I’m only 41 so there seems to be one I’m missing. I just want to know where to focus my attention.
The souls doesn’t give renown anymore (at least past 40). Stop thinking of it as a renown quest and now just a sanctum upgrade quest and prioritize doing it accordingly. I, for one, am pleased to get 3/4ths way through my 1k renown just killing the world boss and grabbing souls in ~ 20 mins of effort (I’ve already got a fully upgraded sanctum so anima really offers nothing minus the renown pieces which are of only minor interest).
a) 1,000 Anima for your Sanctum Weekly quest.
b) Fill the bar to 100% in Korthia/Maw Weekly quest (I think it’s Shaper of Fate but can’t recall the name exactly)
The 20 souls quest no longer rewards renown once you hit 40.
I think why we’re focused on increasing “renown” is because to progress further in the Chains of Domination campaign that it literally says “Earn Renown 44 to continue the campaign.” My issue is/was HOW do I increase renown.
If you’re caught up on renown (i.e. at 40 before this week) then the 20 souls quest doesn’t give renown. Only the anima collection and korthia weekly do. I imagine if you fall behind, then the souls quest will be (one of) the way(s) to catch up.
