Hello i have only been playing a few days and was wanting to check out the trading post that i had heard about. so i went back to Orgrimmar and was looking at the stuff i can buy.
But now i want to go back to questing and i don’t know how to get back. would anyone be able to tell me how i can go back to where i was? thanks
It really depends on where you were questing. You can fly there using the flightmaster, or take the zeppelin, or the portal in Orgrimmar.
Whenever you are questing, you want to make sure to set your Hearthstone at the local inn in that zone. That way, it will be easy to return to where you were and faster to complete quests.
And if you want to teleport to Orgrimmar, if you join a guild, you can buy the Cloak of Coordination from the guild vendor.
Thank you i made it back to where i was. had to go back to an area called Valdrakken.
Some lovely people in the newcomer chat in game helped me get back
One of the toughest things to get used to for a new player is the “geography” of the game world. Places you can walk to, places you can ride to (on a ground mount), places to fly to on a flight master taxi or a flying mount, places you teleport to with items or portals… Lots of places, lots of different ways they’re connected.
IME, you get the hang of it after a while. With enough experience, you build up a mental map that allows you to figure out how to get “there” from “here”.
