On my warrior tank I did the part where I collected the unadorned seal and the gemstones, but now I can’t find a group to beat up Emberstrife. Nobody responds to me in LFG. My guild is so small that there’s only 1-2 level 60s on at a time including me. Nobody I know on retail plays classic on my server (Mankrik).
How do I get a group to do this? Don’t ask me to join another guild because I won’t. After the intro to the tier 0.5 I don’t have much money left so paying pugs isn’t really an option either.
And you expect what exactly by coming on here and crying?
Make some friends. Quit the game. Relax and let it go. Nobody cares.

You’ve some options that involve your guild and social aspects of the game.
Now you could run other things, and build up your friends list. Hit them up for the quest after gaining a few friends.
If dropping your guild is a no-go, is suggest getting more capped people for activities, as only having 1-2 60s at a time is not enough most content.
Ask yourself what you’re getting out of the guild.
Edit: I’ve re-read the guild part of 1-2 60s, including yourself. You’re shooting yourself in the foot tbh. If it’s your guild, recruit. If not, just leave for better parties.

Your guild is dead. Either offer gold for pugs to come or join a non dead guild. Imagine crying on the forums when you know exactly what the solution is.

You’re a tank and can’t find a group? Is your server like the largest horde pve server? Anyways we always seem to have a shortage of tanks not the other way around.

You sure there are no players running Dungeons? I mean, I’m on what’s now kinda a dead realm due to transfers and raid loggers… I still raid myself on a few characters but god above the raid logging is real: any how, I’m still seeing UBRS runs mostly because there is a little community of leveling players like me always bringing up alts.
Check out your servers Discord to organize something, it’s what we do on my server, we also have a private policed LFG for real levelers. Your server may have one too, it’s super nice because it’s not full of boosters.

That quest doesn’t need a full group, and in fact, can be solo’d fairly easily (speaking from experience) by some of them. A ranged class than can kite can just kite him up the ramp he stands on, then jump off when it gets in melee range and as he paths down he can be dps’d from range, rinse and repeat. So getting one of them and maybe some heals and this should be a piece of cake. I’d think finding one or two people of the right classes should be doable.
edit: btw, only one person can complete this quest at a time, there is a cooldown (maybe an hour, dont remember) on the emberstrife ability that you use when you mind control him with the quest item. So its better to have help that doesn’t need the quest, no dispute over who gets it done.

Buy people 10g tip/each for a group of 3-4 people. You might make money back opening ubrs as the tips do add up. As for guilds if a guild dies or can’t raid might want to leave and take a spot with a guild which does.
