Hi all, I received the water walking mount equipment for my main, however, I have no idea how to “generate another one” for my alt. Any help greatly appreciated.
You can’t “generate” a new one for alts that didn’t meet the requirements prior to the patch where mount gear was released, but you can purchase more such items (which are account bound) from Nat Pagle in Pandaria or your garrison.
If you had the azure water strider from the Anglers faction in MoP, every single character on your account should have received a game mail with the water walking mount “equipment” consumable.
Doesn’t matter if they met the original mount requirements. You have the mount, at least one of your characters met the requirement and that’s good enough for all your characters.
If you didn’t get the azure water strider mount before mount equipment, you don’t get any freebies. You can buy the blacksmith-crafted Inflatable Mount Shoes from the AH.
If this is a new character created after the game mails went out, you can go back to Anglers village in Kasarang Wilds and buy one from The Anglers Quartermaster.
Only characters over level 20 were eligible. If a character did not meet the requirements to be able to ride a mount before 5.2, they would not receive the equipment item.
You need to be at least level 100 to purchase another one for an alt. No rep with anglers is needed. The items are account bound aand can be mailed to, and used by, any level 20+ character on your battle.net account - any realm and any faction.
