How do i find ID,s of things in game?

Been wanting to add some things to Rarity, but can not for the life of me find the info, even through their tutorial. How do i find the item ID, and ANY NPC ID? I have tried to find them on Wowhead, but nothing.

Any help appreciated.

Sometimes it doesn’t show the first time you hover over something so you have to take your cursor off it and bring it back and it’ll show :+1:
