Faced one on my level 108 dh and I got owned hard.
Imprison, kite or fly up in the air during touch of death and karma.

yup.
what u gotta look out for is touch of karma, do not hit them during that or u will die fast. instead, u can prison and run, vengeful retreat and run, even use dash to get out of their melee range… as soon as karma is down nuke the heck out of them.
be mindful of their portal positioning if u can . also dont hit into fists of fury, u can stun them during FoF if u want and nuke right after they will lose the parry
Stun or kite all fists of fury. Try to save meta leap to immune touch of death, avoid getting rooted just before the damage goes off by kiting (cannot meta leap while rooted).
Kite them on karma, but remain close enough to interrupt them if they decide to heal. If they are chasing you on the karma wait until they flying serpent kick/roll and then incap them on the startup.
If you know the stun is coming, you can blur/meta leap/pre dark just after your blade dance (they will be waiting for it to stun). Pre blurring will give it a 50 percent chance to miss outright, and even if you get hit you will have the 30 percent damage reduction for their burst. Metaleap can immune the stun, or predarking will remove any chance of them bursting during the stun. You can also use rain from above to immune the stun.
Windwalker cannot trade with dh effectively outside of stuns. There wont be more than 2 stuns per duel without them having a pillar to kite and you can trinket one of them. You want to trinket any stun that they can outright kill you in (such as touch of death with images up). They may try to bait you to trinket first stun and all in you on second. It is important not to trinket a stun unless they commit.
You can also run adaptation which prevents them from ever stunning you unless they run shorter cd on stun, if they do so you need to stall out the 10 seconds before their cd comes back up with defensives/rain from above or you will die to an all in on second stun.
This match up changes drastically with a pillar for the windwalker to abuse, but outside in open world it is definitely favored for the demon hunter.
