How do I disable Blizzard Voice Chat?

Recently I have been getting a system message “Could not find the player to invite to the voice chat channel” when I log on. There are anywhere from 2 to 5 messages repeating the same thing. As I am just logging on I haven’t invited anyone. I have attached a screenshot of the messages. They don’t affect gameplay as far as I know but they are annoying.

I temporarily disabled my Interface and WTF folders and deleted my Cache folder - the issue appears to be some variable in my WTF folder. Now I’d prefer not to delete my WTF folder and manually reconfigure all my addons. If I disabled Blizzard Voice Chat would this solve my problem? If so where in the settings is the option to disable it?

Check Battlenet Launcher under social to see if there’s an open chat there still hanging around.

Don’t think there’s a way currently to disable voice chat but you can go into the voice chat options and disable microphone but I’m pretty sure that only prevents the mic from working.

Just tried it, unfortunately as you said there’s no option to actually disable it :frowning:
