Firstly, is it compatible? and how would I go about doing this?
Should be able too.
Only issue is if ElvUI change the name of their classic version. In which case you rename the save variable file for it once you’ve copied it. So for example ElvUI saves its saved variable file as ElvUI.lua . But their classic version is say ElvUI-Classic. You’ll need to rename the SV file to ElvUI-Classic.
Classic will have it’s own folder in your wow folder under _classic_ . You just need to copy the settings from the retail folder into the appopriate places in the classic folder
Thanks for the response, I’m a dumb dumb when it comes to this sort of thing, would i need to copy over my wtf folder as well?
Edit: can I just straight up copy my WTF folder over into the classic file? Would there be any issues?
Another issue would be, under my realm name I’ve got a couple of characters. I’m not going to have the same character name in Classic. So can I just copy/paste the character folder file into classic and rename the folder as my new character?
