I’m trying to complete the superbloom version of the Overgrown Freyan Warplate set (Arctic Warden’s gear), and I’m wondering if there’s something I’m missing. I looked on Wowhead and it shows these pieces can only drop from the 3 weekly caches in the Emerald Dream (superbloom, 1500 rep, plant 5 seeds). I’ve done all 3 of those every week since Emerald Dream went live and I’m still missing shoulders, belt and boots for this set. Is there some other way to farm for these? Am I missing a vendor somewhere? Did anything get added in the latest patch to help? TIA.
I think they added a random lootbox from that batch of gear you can buy for flightstones. Ofc it might take a while to get the pieces you need because you can’t target specific pieces.
I don’t know for sure it’s that specific set, but it sounds like it.

Nope, it’s purely RNG. I’ve been running it weekly on 10-15 characters and am still missing I think bracers and shoulders for leather.
They might add a determinative way to get it later - they tend to re-use stuff like that when doing catchup gear. Until then, best bet is to just keep running the weeklies on whatever armor set you’re targetting.

That would be cool, except it says it requires 1000+ Mythic Score to purchase. I haven’t run a mythic dungeon since 2019 and I won’t be starting any time soon.

At your I’ll you could get 1000 rating super quick if you wanted. If you are interested, I tank and heal low to mid M+ and we could knock it out.
Pretty sure that gives gear on the M+ loot table. I got a Sea Star.

Play multiple classes of an armor type. Might be tedious but it gets the job done.

The rng on the drops from the weeklies in ED is complete garbage. I dont think there’s been a single week that my toons havent gotten at least one cloak each. Often multiple. It’s unfortunately just a matter of chance. Keep trying until you get the pieces you need. Multiple plate toons helps.

The only way I was able to get the full sets is by running alts through it. I’ve got the full leather and mail sets so far. I haven’t started on cloth yet and I only just started on plate.
There’s a rare named Balboan in Emerald Dream that appears to be the sole source of a cape I was looking for to complete the world drop set.
I appreciate the offer! Sounds like the gear I’m looking for doesn’t drop from the M+ catchup gear unfortunately.

I haven’t started buying anything yet but according to ATT the BOEs that drop in the zone share an appearance with the rare spawn drops, so you should theoretically be able to find that on the AH
My pally got 2 weapons this week. When the loot table % is this bad it makes you feel like you are wasting your time.
Yeah the low drop chance is definitely annoying. Wowhead shows a 1% drop chance for the plate shoulders. I take solace in it not being a huge time investment, as all 3 weeklies can be done in 45 minutes or less once a week.
It isn’t fun but yeah… 4 monks did it for the Superbloom leather (could have done other leather but also doing older sets).
With the drop rates being further reduced next patch this will be really fun.

Update - I have now gotten the Arctic Warden boots and belt, but I’m still missing the shoulders. Whoever made those a 1% drop is a straight up lunatic.
