How do I abandon a pet that is bugged and will not summon?

I tamed a Clefthoof by throwing an ice trap at it. When I finished taming it they decided to charge and knock me back and vanish.

Every time I try and call the pet nothing happens (except after like 3-4 tries you see a brief glimpse of it before it goes away). Tried opening a support ticket thinking they would be able to delete it for me. Instead they turned me to the forums.

I could always just throw it in the stable, but I was trying to find a way to delete it or get it to actually summon.

If you are not spec Beastmaster the pet will not summon.
You can still carry them with you, but can not use them unless Beastmaster.

Thank you, that worked. I was Survival, just changed over to Beast Master and it came out.
