Yeah, it kind of doesn’t have the most visual option to show you where you can do that. If you go back to the main menu page look for your current avatar

Currently starting Shadowlands from the initial quest in Stormwind or Org is bugged, once past the Maw (either playing through or taking the skip option) puts the player in a weird phase of Oribos with many NPCs missing or in the wrong place, and no ability to continue the campaign or take the skip.
And AFAIK Blizzard has never stated that they intended to remove the option to skip the leveling campaign - only that the sub 60 leveling option ‘Threads of Fate’ from when SL was current content was being removed.
Threads of Fate was the option which allowed players who had completed the leveling campaign on a previous character to choose a covenant up front and then level doing stuff like WQ in each zone instead of requiring every character to play through the campaign to level from 50-60 during SL.
This option was removed when DF dropped as SL was moved into Chromie Time, and thus players could level to 60 by playing any of the Chromie Time content.

I tried this last night and none of the NPCs in Oribos will talk to me. All the Flight Masters are missing. I tried jumping into the Maw and it just teleported me back to Oribos.

I tried for hours and eventually gave up and not going to ever bother with it.
The amount of bugs in this game right now is staggering.

I don’t know about the Maw but getting to the SL on a fresh 80 is super easy now, just go to the building in Dorn where the M+ key thing is (up past the upgrade vendor) you’ll see two sand elementals outside. There is a port there that puts you in FAE zone and you can fly anywhere from there.
As far as access to the Maw after you fly to Oribos, I dunno, I didn’t try to go there.

I bet if a toon that is 70 or even 80 goes there and if they have trivial quest turned on, I am sure they will find something that once completed lets them go into the Maw. Yes with low level quest active you can pick up the quest to go to the Maw depending what side you play very simple, Alliance in front of the main castle in storm wind or Horde in front of the war chief hut in Org. You go right to talk to lich king and poof you can go strait to the Maw.
have to do the intro quest at the fountain in stormwind, then youi do the long chain in order to access the zones
