How do dungeons work with the new lvling system?

Now that you can pick an expansion to lvl up in, are the dungeons tied directly to that expansion or are all dungeons available to lvl up in?

Dungeon Finder in Chromie Time

While using Chromie Time, you’ll only be offered dungeons for the Timeline you have chosen. However, if you join a group and different people have different Timelines selected, you’ll be able to join the queue for dungeons from any Timeline selected by the group.

you pick the expansion with Chromie.
Just dont bother exp locking a character or it wont work
