I wanted something that could do good mythic+ DPS while also being good at PvP. Little did I know that I should have been a Guardian Druid based on this criteria. They get to do insane damage AND be unkillable!
Thereās a big buff coming for fire mage but I left mine on the bench for this one because in pre-patch they were so awful. The spec feels good to play but the numbers donāt add up.
Nope, I steer away from mains at this point, I just play whoever at this this point.

I feel you. My Hunter and Lock were both level 63 by the time I decided.
I finally settled on Lock because Iām passionate about Aff and it is a spec that enables me to do what I want in the game.
There is no perfect spec that ticks all of your boxes, pumps S tier numbers, has the ābestā tmog, etc.
Even if you choose the āwrongā class to main, itās still better to play the game on your second favorite spec, than it is to not play it at all on your favorite spec.
Commit to one. Flip a coin if you have to. It is not a final decision, itās just the character you play first.
My rep main is my usual character which is a ret paladin that was my first character. My actual endgame character is still unknown. Iām leveling and enjoying this guy but I want to try out all the other healers before I decide. Maybe level your alts a bit and see what you like.
I was super conflicted between Mage/DH/Monk/DK.
I decided on DH because it was āsafeā in that I enjoy the playstyle.
Glad I did in the end.

I really enjoyed my warrior during SL and wanted to start off the expansion playing with other people-- all my Alliance toons are in a good guild with friendly people so that was pretty much the determining factor. It was the right choice-- we are discovering things, sharing things, and having fun together.
I want to start working on my monk, but I mostly want to level him up with Tuskarr rep and fishing. Iāll make it happen. Right now alts are just accumulating rested experience.
Spartans are cool
Dragoons are cool
Pets are cool

For me the big thing was fantasy. I mained paladin last xpac and warlock, but now with the new DF stuff I feel like I SHOULD be playing hunter/warrior/mage is my thing so it kinda drives me little more in that direction.
I basically only pvp so Rogue was an easy choice. I dont arena too much but i can if i want to, bgs the rogue class is super fun, even when youre not OP cause you can pick your fights and sometimes a well timed kidney or cheap shot is enough to help your team win. Ive just never had as much fun pvping as i do on rogue.
That being said i will be leveling alts (druid, shaman, lock at least) cause i can just pvp from 60-70 and not miss out of anything power wise. And random bgs, or maybe RBGs will my guild will be most of my gameplay cause i dont have hours at a time to raid.
Play them all. No reason to rush everything. Do casual bgs, lfd, lfr. Enjoy life.

That being said, I am going to level this guy, then once this guy hits 70 I have a brand new server full of dwarves (regular and DI - sigh) to level and get to max level.
Once thatās done, I am going back to my Tauren server and level my Tauren tribe
If I ever figure it out Iāll let you know. I thought it would be my DH this time so I ran her though, but almost the moment I hit 70 I started another alt. My affliction lock is almost 70 now and I think Iām having more fun on her than on my DH⦠but now I want to try another alt. -_-;
I think a lot of this is due to my ADD. I want to play every spec of every class as every race all at once all the time.

Idk, I just enjoyed Evoker. I started in Legion and since then I kinda never found a class I actually enjoyed the gameplay until Evoker. Sure, mage and paladin have great fantasies but I was always bored out of my mind when raiding or doing M+. Then I tried Demon Hunter, enjoyed how fast paced it was but I am not the biggest fan of melee, especially since itās extremely punishing if you have high ms. Come Evoker, almost as fast paced as DH, but with the fantasy of a sorcerer, which lands exactly where I wanted.
