For me it was relatively simple, this is my main, this is the only character I play. Some people have chosen their alts, or made an anonymous character just so they could post. So why did you choose the character you chose to represent yourself on these forms?

Although I don’t main him anymore, he is the cutest one to me. Although I have many, many other gnomes who are almost as cute.

I’ve posted the most under this character, so I just keep with the trend. I switch to alts for certain threads, but post on this one 99% of the time.

This was the name of my main at one time before i named changed her some time ago. Plus i like the Druid of the Flame mog i fixed up for her, even drew some fanart of her which looks pretty nice imo.

This was my main from legion until around 8.2ish. I stay as this char to at least be consistent as a big pet peeve of mine on discussion boards is people who swap usernames / pfps like shirts and expect you to just know who they are.

I post on whatever toon I feel is appropriate for the thread, but as this is my main (and oldest remaining toon) it’s used more when speaking as me rather than as the character

This is my main. If i have any class related questions, i change to that character. If i feel like a bit if a troll or rant about an unpopular topic, I switch to that character. Thats only been like 2-3 times ever though
I picked randomly from my many characters after I deleted my old forum main. Considering switching to one of my void elves since I like them better, but meh.
I got TL3 on this character and don’t feel like attempting it on my main. Rather simple.

She’s also kind of my forum identity. Like I feel weird posting on anyone else.

Altho I did post on Ghaston my worgen hunter for awhile on the forums. Then my Demon Hunter just because I wasn’t doing so hot when people would see my then female warlock and call me she / her and all that.

Forum profiles, stats and trust level are all tied to charactername-servername rather than the actual character so Bluster-Area52 has been many different characters. When the forums launched in 2018 Bluster-Area52 was my main rogue at the time and I just made new Blusters to keep posting after I transferred my main rogue to Alliance.
