my MMR 1073, opposing healer is 1034, I win 5 matches. how the hell is this a zero in gained rating. Done with this bull crap, if that doesn’t get me rating I don’t know what can.
Need to know your mmr for an accurate answer. Odds are your mmr was a couple hundred points under your cr

Sounds about right then. Your mmr was lower than your CR and your mmr was simultaneously higher than your opponent’s CR.

Keeping winning, your mmr goes up and your cr will start shooting up with it

Your point gain is based off your personal MMR.
Enemy MMR only comes into play when the game decides how much MMR you gain for wins and lose for losses.
The system wants your MMR and CR to be exactly the same, therefore if your MMR is lower than your current rating, wins are worth less, losses are worth more.
On the other hand if your MMR is above your CR, wins are worth more, losses are worth less.
When you get 0 points it’s because your personal MMR was below your CR, sometimes by a significant amount, meaning that 1 loss canceled out your 5 wins and left you with neutral rating gain.
MMR gain is a separate calculation, You more than likely gain a good bit of mmr, and the next game your personal MMR should be caught up to or even exceed your current rating which leads to the above situation of wins being worth more points and making wins worth more rating per win.
This is why you see situations like you experienced as well as situations where someone can go 1-5 and still get points, or someone gets 4+ wins and a significant amount of CR (70+).
