How deep is blingtron lore?

7000 encrypted message says that this unit was captured and next message will have triple security level.

Calling it lore is kind of pushing it. Until we have some other source they’re just a silly not-necessarily-canon Easter Egg. Although I’ve seen expansion concepts for a Journey to the Center of Azeroth that involves the Blingtron Wars :man_shrugging:

There is sone history behind the creation (and creator) of blingtron, but I dont remember much a lot of it. You get a quest to find the whereabouts of the blingtron’s creator and his daughter in legion if you have high level engineering.

5000 and 6000 seem to have completely contradictory stories (unless I glossed over some quest text too fast)

Im still creeped out by the fact that 6k has part of it’s skull missing. I don’t trust 7k yet either.

Honestly surprised that Blingtron wasnt really featured at in Mechagon. I know the war is subterranean and all, but a lil something would be cool.

https://wow.gamepedia.com/Decrypted_Message_002-001 is the triple encrypted message:

After decrypting it the first time(the usual decryption for Encrypted Messages) you get this:

01001000 01100101 01100001 01110010 01110100 01101000 01110011 01110100 01101111 01101110 01100101 00100000 01100001 01110100 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 01001100 01101001 01101111 01101110 11100010 10000000 10011001 01110011 00100000 01010000 01110010 01101001 01100100 01100101 00100000 01001001 01101110 01101110 00101110 00100000 01010100 01101111 01101111 00100000 01101101 01100001 01101110 01111001 00100000 01100011 01100001 01110010 01100100 01110011 00100000 01101001 01101110 00100000 01110100 01101000 01100101 00100000 01101000 01100001 01101110 01100100 00101110 00100000 00111000 00101111 00111000 00100000 01100110 01101111 01110010 00100000 00110001 00110010 00101110 00100000 01000011 01101111 01101110 01110011 01110100 01110010 01110101 01100011 01110100 00100000 01100001 01100100 01100100 01101001 01110100 01101001 01101111 01101110 01100001 01101100 00100000 01110000 01111001 01101100 01101111 01101110 01110011 00101110

Decrypting this 2nd layer of Encryption gives you the 3rd one which is this:

Hearthstone at the Lion’s Pride Inn. Too many cards in the hand. 8/8 for 12. Construct additional pylons.

The hand seen at the Lion’s Pride Inn Hearthstone Deck is 3 Cards which is apparently too much for a specific hand according to the Mechagnomes.

8/8 for 2 stands for 3 Giant Cards(https://hearthstone.fandom.com/wiki/Category:12_Cost) and one of them is the Clockwork Giant Card…

The Clockwork Giants in WoW are named:

Clockwork Giant(multiples found in Mechagon’s AU), XT-002 Deconstructor(only 1 found in Ulduar), XT-003 Deconstructor(replacement for XT-002), Pleasure-Bot 8000(created by Gnomes/Goblins in Draenor) and Pascal-K1N6(found in Rustbolt)…

No idea what the Starcraft reference: “Construct additional pylons.” means…

We need the Secret Finders involved!

I was reading the whole post intently until I hit this part
