When you’ve created a game system with a currency that is mathematically impossible to achieve? Well not impossible just until 2 xpacs after it’s current.
A game that rewards you for NOT playing it, just like taking gear off made you more powerful.
There’s a good reason they won’t allow you to play SL with XP off. Like when Lore tried to defend bfa’s broken scaling, the dude never did apologize for being wrong and we’ll never hear from him again.
How can they do a blizzcon with a strait face knowing all it takes is simple math to discover you’ll be farming anima for years.
What? We are not even at the first patch and if you would have been playing the game you would already have enough anima to finish upgrading your covenant or pretty dang close to it. What is this magic item that you want that cost so much anima? Because all I’ve seen are the transmog stuff and a mount. So, let’s say each transmog is 4k anima at 8 items that’s 32k and another 5k for the mount. Let’s call it an even 40k, that 5 to 6 weeks of farming, tops.
5 to 6 weeks of farming a currency straight, and you have only managed to unlock an armor set, mounts, and a couple of weapons.
Enjoy the other extra 50K or so that you have to put into the covenant for the upgrades.
Yes, I realize that. That’s why I stated, we are not even at the first patch, yet. If , we have the same amount of time between 9.0.5 and 9.1, then by the time 9.1 drops, you should have all the transmogs and mounts, as well as covenant upgrades.
Well, were three months in…
Will probably not be obtained for quite some time.
You would think there would be some WoWhead post like “Player XXXXXX from Server YYYYYYYY has purchased all anima rewards, it is possible” yet… it hasn’t happened.
So far there has been no evidence of this other than speculation.
This also assumes they will add no new purchasables. It’s honestly pretty bad design to have 9.0 items unpurchasable until 9.1, but I guess if Blizz is taking the lazy approach, they can use that as justification for not adding new things in the patch.
