i’ve seen streamers joke with their friends in chat about win trading in shuffle and it got me thinking…how often does it actually happen? i’ve also been told stories from friends about people who are new to the pvp scene get win traded out of rank 1 because they played a spec that people didn’t like.
seeing as how all the r1 players are best friends, is it unlikely they win trade to help each other out?
You already know the answer here. But I will roll along with it, makes for an entertaining read. WAIT, first leme grab my Reynolds, make up a good hat real quick.
It happens quite a bit forsure. I know some people who win traded to get #1 on ladder, I know some people who win traded for their first r1 title. There was also the whole pokemons fiasco in s3 of sl. It’s usually really good players trying to help less good players get titles. Then there’s also a thing that happens a lot where it’s the very end of the season and a team is right on the cutoff for r1, so they have their friends who are super safe q into them and throw one game. This happens all the time.
I don’t really know how bad win trading is right now, but at the beginning of the season it was rampant. Mostly around 1.8-2k (I assume for cosmetics and enchant) It’ was even worse if you were queuing as a healer. There was one lobby that I was in where the opposing team would immediately go to where I was stealthed and break me out of it every game in the opener.
Yes absolutely they do. If you’re only facing one or two teams at the top and everyone knows eachother how can stuff like this not happen but it doesn’t matter because they’re already rank 1 anyways. The account piloting and the boosting is rampant though at the ratings I play and it absolutely does affect me. They can call it coaching or what not but I’m losing points queuing into Blizzcon players
It’s been 3 hours another Swole thread where he posts exactly like Dozer
Pro tip swole and dozer aren’t being genuine they post nonsense and keep it pg13 so they can bait people into getting banned with their alt spam reporting
