ya was wandering same thing and bummed out,i know im getting old .But didnt think they nerfed the gold until the next xpack comes out.Its worth doing old zone world quest now instead of current lol

Not my logic. It is what Blizzard has said in the past. I had nothing to do with the changes.
not true look at old zones wq and a lot them are 200g and they have been this whole xpack

Those got nerfed as well. Also the “awakened” chests got hit too.
The high gold cost of the WoW token might be the reason for the early nuke. People have so many alts now with the prepatch. I know people with 50 alts doing dragon races for 500 gold. That only causes hyper inflation.
well actually what some of do like me is save up for the next xpack when the tokens drop then buy them and was hoping for at least another week to save up some gold so i could buy one for game time

Inflation was there way before those gold quests started poping up. Gold WQs were a very good way to prepare for the next expansion; quick reminder to everyone that crafting orders will probably have high costs, just like in launch DF.
Blizz can’t have casuals making gold. If they did then who would buy a WoW token?

Seriously tho, it was an, unnecessary early, nerf. Most of us knew it was coming, but a lot of us thought we still had a week or two to keep farming gold.

I bit the bullet and got a 12 month for $200. It used to be easy to make gold in BFA selling uncanny gear. I made a bunch of gold in SL selling Leggos.
In DF you had to spend the majority of your playtime spamming trade and deal with players not understanding how inspiration work in DF. I would tell people send the work order as a rank 4 so I can inspire a rank 5. That didn’t go well. lol

dragonflights paying wage decreased with the influx of adventurer’s and dragons living in the city.
thus the pay used to be so high for demand that they have to reduce it due to the fact that there is more bodies then high wage gaps.
that or so we dont keep going back to make tons of gold…
