I had to do everything on my alts and yet last week I got the upgrade just doing one quest.
There is an elite you can kill for a key to a chest that gave my alt that didn’t do the quest last week an upgrade item and then I only had to do the quest from last week.
I got it on my second character alt this week. The upgrade item actually dropped from a mob, once I had completed the Weekly the “Pink” ! was there, it just didn’t give me the upgrade because I already had it.
Last week alts could just go and do that one pink quest for the upgrade though - I got them for 12 characters I believe - most of whom didn’t do anything else on that isle. Taking 30 minutes and doing all that on 12 characters is a downgrade.
Yeah I agree but as I said I got my upgrade from a mob, it would just be RNG I guess. Lots are saying it is taking much longer this week than normal.
was it off a rare mob? I killed a lot of those others to complete the quests and nothing. I couldn’t get a tag in on the rares, they were all grey when I got to them. I actually never got the ‘pink quest’ - it showed up as a normal yellow one .
Nope just a regular mob. My Upgrade quest was Pink also on the second character.
My alts were all able to do the same quest, it just had a regular yellow ! icon.
And it came up as soon as you hit the isle? Or did you have to do the weekly for it to show up?
It showed up as soon as I finished the weekly quest since you need to go into the storm area to use the mech and nuke.
so you had to do the same weekly on every alt
Yeah, not great, but the option’s there.
Correct but the upgrade showed up on a mob, I honesty cannot recall if I had finished the weekly to 100% or not.
I’ll be running another toon here soon so I’ll see how that works out. I think this week is just going to take longer for alts.
