How come no Solo Shuffle in classic?

I get it’s wasn’t a feature from classic, so duh it shouldn’t be in the game. But, it seems like something that wouldn’t change the classic vibe at all, while allowing a great user feature to exist. Is the general idea about classic, that if you change one thing, it opens the door to change others?

Well there is no arena in Era and Cata is dead, soooo…

I suppose there are various schools of thought on this sort of topic, but I don’t think this is particularly relevant to the question of why some things that you personally may like about Retail WoW have not been implemented in Cataclysm Classic.

Even having meetings to present and discuss such ideas is a resource cost. Perhaps they have had such conversations in some of their meetings, and perhaps nobody has spent the time or effort to develop a nice breakdown of perceived stats and ROI to present to any decision makers.

what in activision’s name is solo shuffle

While I like arena, the main problem is that vanillas pvp appeal is world pvp. Anything that further detracts from it hurts that appeal and then you end up with a game thats stuck in the middle with no direction.

Also it would have to 100% have the same pvp rules in vanilla meaning trinket swapping and consumable usage.
