How come no gold for PvP wins?

Usually, in wars the winning side takes a lot of stuff that could be sold for big profits. Maybe I’m missing something, but are there other ways to get gold from pvp in this game other than buying a piece of green gear with honor and reselling it back to the vendor? I’m not saying we should get rich from war because wars cost a lot of money. But compared to PvE, the amount of gold you can earn in PvP is pathetic.

Again, not saying it should be equal, but the current amounts are disrespectful. The winner should get a bag of gold loot along with the honor.

I’ve been Pveing this season and i’ve been losing alot of gold through repairs…buying consumables, etc…i aint making gold

Yea, but you can make all that up with a bunch of easy to finish world quests and daily quests. And a quick AoE spam regular dungeon run that often ends faster than a BG earns more gold.

Again, not saying the gold amounts in pve and pvp should be equal. I’m just saying pvp should offter some gold to the winner. This way there is more incentive to stay in a losing match.

You can sell the awakened ire from the win boxes on the AH. They are going for 700g+ each right now

You wanna pay me to kill players? Where do I sign up?

Other games like ESO or GW2 let you make gold directly from pvping whether it’s from reward tracks or boe cosmetics or materials or whatever. I wish this game would join the modern times and allow PvPers to make a little gold to at least cover th cost of enchants and gems etc not to mention the mats needed for crafting embellished pieces.

i cant afford to buy mats for crafted pieces.

yes doing this surely wouldn’t cause a massive influx of bots or anything

If bots are good and you win with those bots on your team, who cares?

Bad bots that lose will get nothing.

And there are already plenty of bots in pve that farm a ton more than anything they would earn in pvp.

you get a box with like 200g worth of ire
