Surely this is on a development list for a future update, right? I’m honestly surprised it hasn’t been announced already.
I’d love this but then I wonder if my alts will keep their performance/gear. If I could group with my hunter as he is, he would just solo the whole dungeon for my alts!
If my alts become bad, I would still love them, and boop them. And for the stinky druid, the occasional flirt…

We just finally got changeable campsites.
They wouldn’t, they would be scaled the same as the current followers.
I think it would be easy in that case, but only if the alts are paladin tank, druid healer, mage DPS, and shaman DPS. Then you would just change their morph ID and copy the customization options.
Although, apparently there are story mode raids. How do those work? Do they have all classes
It would be immersion breaking if my druid said anything helpful. Mostly he just puts rejuvenate on the tank and says “Go, cutie!”
