How can you go UP in the queue?

I’m watching my position in queue to login and see it go down 3, and then up 2…down 5, and then up 2.

If someone logs off, or leaves the queue, my position goes down.

That said, how is it possible that my position goes up? Surely it can’t be that people are cutting in line right?

or someone gets disconnected and they have a rejoin buffer.

Must’ve been Asmongold taking your spot with streamer privilege.

Fair…but i’d expect that out of the Estimated time going up / down…but your position in a queue? That seems pretty straight forward to me.

Please read stickied blue posts before posting. It helps prevent unneeded and already answered posts such as this. Good luck.

I just got bumped up 50 spots.

Ahh okay, this I can understand

Yeah, i agree. Something’s definitely borked about it.

I don’t see the stickied post about this? What’s the title? I’d love to know more.

Just a guess - when a layer collapses and the players get booted, they move up the queue when they relog as compared to if the server crashes, everyone has to get back in line.

It’s a rejoin buffer. Once you get through the Q you have a certain amount of time where you can instantly log back in if you log out. Have not tested how long it is, nor do i want to.

I’ve read them and haven’t seen this explained. I’d be happy to read it if you wouldn’t mind linking. I’d be good with your takeaway from it as well

Because they have no idea how to manage launches.
