How can you allow this?

This is the second time that I’ve been in a dungeon with a 4 man guild team. And when we got to the final boss they kicked me from the group. I didn’t say one thing in chat and was top dps for every boss/trash pull. But that doesn’t matter, a group of jerks decided they didn’t want me to get credit for the dungeon and wasted my time.

How can you allow this?..

It doesn’t hurt them. Just a group of friends wanting to be jerks to someone. Believe it or not it happens more than you think in this game.

All they have to do is hit the reque button and bam they get a new dps. I sat in que for 25 minutes waiting for that dungeon then slaved through it with them just to be dropped when it was almost over.

I know. And its disgusting that people act like this in a game. You never know who’s behind the keyboard or the reason why someone does something, but there has to be a way to stop a group of 4 from wasting someones time because someone wants to be mean.

Sorry about that, sometimes people are jerks just because they can be.

How would you propose Blizzard dealt with parts of the WoW community abusing the VtK feature? The only thing I can think of is a reputation system, but then, how do we make sure THAT isn’t abused?

I think that if the dungeon gets progressed with the original group to the last boss even if someone gets removed they should get rewards when the group kills that boss. I’m not sure how else to stop it… it’s almost to the point where if I join a group that has 3 or 4 members of the same guild in it, through the LFG system I’m going to leave immediately.

I tried to kick someone out of a group (DK Tank on Illidan-Horde) like 2 pulls before the last boss. I told the group he was terrible and that we were carrying him and all our wipes were his fault. I told the group we’d wipe again and again if they didn’t kick him. I initiated the kick and they declined it!

Then we proceeded to wipe several more times. Our healer who was carrying our aweful tank got fed up and left. We got a new healer, wiped, and I initiated another vote kick (thankfully it let me! Usually after one fail it’s locked). The tank was gone, we got a new tank and swam through the content like nothing.

Point is, who cares when you kick. If you did something to deserve it, GOOD BYE! If you’re not good enough to play the level of content, or if the group just doesn’t want you around why should they suffer you?

I was top dps on boss and aoe pulls. I was carrying the group, yet I was the one removed because I wasn’t in their guild. I assume you are assuming that I was horrible and causing the group to wipe over and over again, but if you actually read what I originally posted you would realize that wasn’t the case.

But that being said I’m glad you’re happy about a post that adds nothing to this discussion and you can sleep well tonight now.

Easy they can monitor dps and agro healing ect , addons can do it so why not Blizzard and if you have decent dps compared to the rest in the group you can’t get kicked…

Some people just like to troll and think it’s funny, personally I think it’s bs. Think it’s time you do dungeons with the guild or friends so you can avoid people like this. Or at the very least if you don’t have a full group to do it with 1 or 2 would be good at least that way you have more votes over the others. That’s why I hate pugging people think its funny to waste peoples time for no reason.

Like I said it was either your game play or you as a person. I can see it was most likely you as a person that was kicked. I take your word with a grain of salt too, I’ve never seen anyone kicked for no reason, especially when a guild is in the run.

You literally have no idea and you’re saying this is all my fault. Victim blaming at its finest.

And my friends have all quit the game because BFA wasn’t what they expected and got bored.

There are reasons people get kicked other than performance. I’ve voted to kick skilled players because they were jerks and/or trolling. The votekick feature is a necessity, unfortunately some people will abuse it.

So should someone who’s being toxic/a detriment to the group still be rewarded loot after being removed from the group, but meeting your qualifications? Also, what’s to stop people from holding up the group and forcing them to kick them (which has happened in the past when people got dungeons they didn’t want to do) so they don’t have to do the last boss?

I’m not saying your complaints aren’t valid or that what they did was nice, but where does Blizzard draw the line? How do they safeguard us from players finding loopholes to use as a means to abuse and disrupt other players?

I’m ignoring you from now on Izael, you’re very aggressive and I wouldn’t doubt if you’re not one of those people that would do what happened to me to someone else and laugh with your friends while you do it.

@Lunarial I understand what you’re saying but you have to understand my side as well… Are you ok with me waiting 25 minutes to get into a dungeon because I’m dps, then spending 30-1 hr in that dungeon dieing with the group and progressing to the last boss just to get kicked because they are in a 4 man guild and you can’t stop it?

Once again it wasn’t my mechanics or my dps, I didn’t even talk in /instance chat and didn’t hold the group up.

Oh and Izael before you try to flame me for not being good enough… I’m 3/8 mythic on Moon Guard and Alliance. I’d be 4/8 mythic but my guild downed the boss while I had thanksgiving with the family. So before you say I’m not good enough, check yourself, because you haven’t even downed 1 boss in mythic and you’re horde.

It definately makes you rethink why you are wasting time playing this “game”. Especially when all your friends have left already.
