Like most of the Horde, the Blood Elves are a “Phantasm”/Representation of Western Orientalist interpretation of ME/NA and Muslims and lightly South Asia, superimposed upon the themes of Diurnal Golden Forest Elves (Mirkwood/Thranduil, Seelie Elves, Light Elves from Germanic Myth) but with the personalities of Warhammer “Dark Elves”.
