Please show us something like a picture or sketches of what they are making.

What bothers me is people are voting for the Ancient when Blizzard will probably just take the low quality ancient model, move its arm to hold you and call it a day.
Whereas the others they’d actually have to put in work.

That’s true I can’t find any pictures so i use my imagination and no I don’t want a flying book for a mage.
Doubt it, the art team is argue-ably the best part of the Wow dev team. Always has been for the most part.
Unless they are the same who made the DK’s class mount then…

Either the Tome or Ancient IMHO, I voted Ancient because big f’n tree mount! Why wouldn’t I?!
In saying that though, I do hope at least 1 or 2 of them make it to the store in the near future.
Just vote on what sounds cool. To me it’s not that big an issue, I’ll be happy with any of them.

That’s just it. The one people vote on will be the one that Blizz will put the least amount of effort into it.
Meanwhile the other ones will be so great Blizz will put them in thee store and people will buy them.

Eh, the only other one that needs ‘work’ is the book if we use that thinking.
Slimesaber’s another variant on the cat model we already have, except this time transparent.
Caterpillar (while my second favourite) is a MoP model that actually uses the same animations as the crocolisk/basilisk
Nerubian Swarmer is a redo of the ticks from this expansion, but with their old Wrath skin
Ancient is the only one that’s guaranteed to be a new model, through virtue of no pre-existing mounts that use similar animations. It’ll be unique no matter what
Me too. I liked the idea of a caterpillar mount. Since my first venture into Shalozar Basin where a quest had me riding a crocolisk, I’ve always wanted one as a mount. Its not one of those, but its close 
It’s a shame that the slimesaber and ancient are the two most popular. The ancient is a big mount which makes it impractical and useless. For me at least. And we have to many kitty mounts as well.

I don’t even think the book will need much work. Can’t they just enlarge and rig one of the many flying books in the game, especially one of the pets?

why not a jaina, valeera, or sylvanas mount
The tree will be a reskin of the Infernal mounts, guaranteed. Book would be the kite / mage disc model. Either way a free mount is a free mount! 
It’d need mount specific animations (like mount-special) that would need to be created, same with the ancient. The other three already have existing ones to draw from
You can use past images to get an idea of what you’re voting for. For instance, the tree may sound cool, but most of the ents Blizzard has designed, are by almost all accounts, ‘ew’ and ‘gross.’ Whereas the book will likely be similar to the flying tomes in Aszuna, which looked pretty neat
