I already have a horde toon on Crusader Strike (so it will always show unlocked for me) where can I see when blizzard decides to unlock horde so I can inform friend who wants to play.
Its automated. Blizzard doesn’t decide anything. It might unlock numerous times throughout the day as more people make toons on Alliance.
Your friend just needs to keep trying every hour until they get in.

Is Crusader Strike still getting locked? Had a friend who I was trying to get into the game. He had no problem getting in. Thought they got rid of the lock. Interesting.

Every server is still getting auto faction locked routinely.
Though I will say this is the first time I’m hearing about the Horde Side getting auto locked on Crusader Strike. Until now I’ve only seen it happening to Alliance.
So long as bots keep making characters though in order to farm gold to sell to Crusader Strike players, both factions will probably continue to get locked every so often. But also so long as bots keep making characters, the factions will also unlock every so often as well.
Just gotta get lucky and slip in.
