I am having a strange problem that i have been unable to fix. I hope someone can get me some insight. When i mouse over a player the tooltip shows up in the lower right corner of my screen as normal. when i mouse over my aura bar on my pally it also shows the tooltip in the lower right corner but when i mouse over my action bar buttons the tooltip shows up at the location of the cursor. I have deleted my wow directory any folders or files for battlenet or blizzard in my appdata folder also anything in my program data folder and reinstalled wow but i get the same result i have tried various addons but nothing seems to help with the tooltips at the cursor. does anyone have any ideas??
Hey there Bearse,
That sounds like it may be a server side setting. Add-ons can sometimes change them. Can you see if resetting those to defaults helps? it’s just a command typed into chat, followed by pressing enter. The command is:
/console cvar_default

I had a feeling it was on the server side. That was exactly the info i needed.
I will have to keep that handy and try to remember which addon got me into trouble 
This is funny to me. I want the complete opposite.
I want all text to show at my mouse pointer.
It shows all info on the far right side of screen and cant get it back to where I had it.

so how do we move the tip panel. i do not want it in the lower right corner. would have it some where it can be seen without looking away from the center of the screen while moving the mouse around. i have been thru the edit screen and looked for add-ons that don’t work now without bugging out.
