How can I hide popup messages in Delves?

When running Delves these large popup messages often appear in the middle of the screen not only covering mobs that are attacking but also not allowing click through. These messages appear at each stage while running a Delve. They have a large elaborate font and a couple of ornate gold lines above and below the text.

Yeah, i’d love to be able to set them to vanish very quickly, as it is now, they hang around way too long.

As with most annoying things in WoW, I’m sure someone will make an addon to fix it lol

Use edit mode to move it. I put it over my buffs, I barely notice the stupid thing there.

There does not appear to be an option for this message in edit mode. I just discovered that you can right-click on the message to make it vanish immediately. Partial solution to the problem I suppose.

I’ve never noticed these massive pop-ups in center-screen. Since it’s not in the Edit Mode (or if it is, you can’t easily find it), are you sure it’s not an add-on causing this pop-up?

Try a low-level Delve with all add-ons disabled and if it goes away, then you can track down which add-on is causing it and adjust the settings for that add-on or leave it disabled.

I use HideTalkingHead, works great

I use an addon called BeQuiet. Removes it entirely LOL

I disabled all my addons and it is still there. It’s a shame you can’t put screenshot images here.

Edit:
OK. I finally found an addon that fixes this problem. It is on CurseForge and is called “Move Event Toast”. The addon allows you to move, hide or allow mouse click through this “toast”. I moved the frame to the top centre of the screen so it is now out of the way when trying to fight mobs. Happy!

As an aside. I tried various forums, Google search and searching addon sites without really knowing what exactly to search for. So I asked Gemini AI …
“In World of Warcraft there are popup messages at various times that are really annoying. The name of these are called currentdislayingtoast. Is there any way to disable or move them ?”
… and it immediately pointed me to the solution.
