How can I find out the age of my character?

Due to the shared achievements system, I can’t know when I created the character. Is there a way to find out?

No. But it would be nice to have that info. Maybe they could add it as info on the tool tips on the selection screen.
Gold is ok to see, but other info (creation date, current ilvl, pending vaults, etc…) would make it nicer.

Everquest can show you when your character is created. And I got interesting name color when it was my character’s 20th birthday.

My oldest WOW character I think will be 18 by beginning of January.

Times like this I really miss warcraftrealms. You used to be able to look up your character and it had data like dates that character was seen and what level they were and guilds they were in. Real shame it’s been gone for years.

You can move this thread over to the Customer Support forum. One of the blues there can look it up for you if they have time.

If you are on a character go to achievements, drop down the achievement to see each stage, go to level 10 achievement and you should see ‘Character you are on achieved this date’

This isn’t 100% but I assume most people hit 10 in the first day or two of playing them.

Achievements did not exist when I started playing wow.

Alright well, can’t really help you there I guess, I dunno if they retro awarded on the date. /shrug

Same, my first thought was “but I played vanilla and BC before achievements were added”. I still remember logging all my characters in to see who had how many points already.

you can look your character up on the armory, and if you check out the achievements, even though they are account wide, there are usually some personal ones that will stick out specifically from that character. It’s not an exact date, but it will give you a ballpark.

Just send in a ticket and ask. Maybe they will tell you. Seems the simplest course.

I found an approximated method:

I just looked to “Shave and Haircut” achieve. Buy is like a hidden feature to see the character age.

My oldest is Bluhmz druid 2012.
My preferred, warr is around 2017, in legion.

They did retro awards the day they were implemented.

Most of my achievements show dates that are ranting from a few months to a couple years from the time I actually completed them and instead just show the day the system went live.

cut him in half and count the rings
