I just got a new pc and the specs blow away the recommendations for wow, its the only game I play
I have the graphics set to good (7 in game), first two weeks I had it was running between 300 and 400 fps
Now it is hovering around 100
Is there something online I can use that can test my pc and tell me what fps I should be getting in game so I can tell if maybe my pc has a bad part or if I am running where I should be? Its all under warranty so want to know the deal.
WoW isn’t the type of game where you can sustain 300+ fps all the time.
So depending on what situation you’re in, this can be as expected or maybe your addons are out of date and causing massive fps dips cause it’s erroring out so much.
What specs is your system? For example my 7800x3d and rtx 4080 super build will still dip to the 50s during prime time boss fight for this pre-event. Usually I sustain 100+ fps depending on where I’m at.
You didn’t even list the specs. This isn’t exactly something you can judge by faith alone.
What’s the hardware setup on the PC?
CAS: CyberPowerPC PHANTEKS NV5s ATX Mid-Tower Gaming Case With Seamless Glass View + 4X ARGB Fans (Included)
CPU: AMD Ryzen™ 9 Processor 7900X 12-core/24-thread 4.7GHz [Turbo 5.6GHz] 64MB Cache AM5 (Included)

Depending on where you measure, I’d expect around 100-150 FPS with everything maxed out in 1080p, probably a bit lower in 1440p/4k
