How can I contact Blizzard devs?

Hello again all, not trying to start a flame war here, just asking a simple question, at least I hope simple…
I am completely unimpressed by the new Auction House setup, and want to get some changes made, but putting in a Ticket is pointless, because they say that they have no ability to change anything in-game, and I need to contact the development teams.
Their suggestions were to post my concerns in the forums, or on Blizzard’s Twitter page, but neither of these seems to warrant any response at all, so I am hoping for another means of getting help from Blizz.
Can someone suggest a means of making contact with the people who actually can make changes to the game?? Please don’t be cruel, if you do not know, just skip this thread.
Oh yes, and Thanks in advance!!

Basically, you outline your feedback here on the forums, or using the in-game suggestion button. (It’s there in the help menu.)

That feedback is gathered by the Community team (what’s left of it.) and sent to the Devs.

They take that feedback and make changes to the game that they agree with if it is possible within their feature time-scales and such.

You will not have a guaranteed 1-1 conversation with a Dev anywhere.

You may not necessarily get a one on one talk with the development team, no matter how they are contacted. You can post here, in the suggestion box in game, or tweet @WarcraftDevs , but understand they are a busy group and may not always respond. All feedback is taken though, and relayed to the development team.

  1. Write your thoughts in cursive on paper.

  2. Put the paper in a glass bottle and lid it tightly using a corkscrew.

  3. Ensure that you throw the bottle into the ocean, preferably near the Atlantic ocean.

Feedback will arrive by carrier pigeon or seagull.

Can you imagine 100,000 (or more) players contacting the devs individually to “propose” their changes, or to complain about something in the game?

There is no direct connect to the devs for players to use. that would be counter productive for them.

What you do is post your suggestions on these forums and the forum managers collect any useful information and pass it on to the devs.

The devs may sometimes browse these forums but rarely will they directly post here.

I sort of get that, but then why do they even have the Ticket system, if they cannot do anything??

Tickets are not for suggestions.
They are for reporting player violations or if you have any in game issues (not game design opinions), such as stuck, npc not responding, quest not completing, etc.

And tickets are not answered by the devs, they are answered by Game Masters.

800 of them can be reached on monster .com

You will need:

A flashlight
A bunch of long and sturdy ropes and climbing gear
And MOST importantly a proctologist to speak to the devs.

That is what I mean truly, what good is a system that is only answered by people who have no actual control over the game??

Where do we suggest a N’zoth plushie?

Because tickets aren’t there for game suggestions. They are there to help with things like billing issues, a character being stuck, missing items, reporting players.

It has nothing to do with development. That’s how it’s always been.

Alright, I could accept that if there was some ability to point you towards a way to make these suggestions, but I have never been given one as yet, besides useless ones…
Even if I did find a suggestion box, I am less than confident that Blizzard would react to it honestly. They seem pretty set in their ways in truth, and dislike changing anything for the better!!

Write them a letter and email…
But all they do is this

Yes, I have kind of tried to accept this, but it is annoying, especially when they are taking your money from you!!

Just because you make a suggestion doesn’t mean it will be acted upon. You are one of millions.

If you don’t like it, stop giving them money. They aren’t taking anything from you.

I think I may stop, the next time my sub runs out, not resubscribe, but i like the game, and did not want to have to leave because of bad developer decisions truthfully…
Still, this thing could end up being a deal breaker for me, as it is pointlessly creating difficulties, where they were not before.
All in the name of improvements that are actually downgrades from what exists!!
