How can I collapse or hide the chat window?

In most messaging programs, you can collapse the entire chat window. How can I do that in WoW? Any advice or addons?

there used to be a simple addon called “hide chat button”
it worked well except when I was doing alot of arenas i would start a match and the addon would crash and id have to reset UI during arena gameplay to deal with the problem.
(which is/was a major pain)
other than that it worked well :confused:
