Blizzard need to get off their butts and give us a way to filter servers, especially with these merges. The amount of spam from the Faerlina (Nazgrim) players in our merged LFG chat is absolutely absurd. There’s no point in even using the channel because they flood it with guild messages at an insane rate.
As much as I didn’t like the old system that only allowed one post in LFG every minute or so, I feel like we need to bring that back. There would be (slightly) less stupid political chat flooding, and guilds couldn’t post their message 3x in a row in what’s supposed to be our group-finding tool. If they want to stuff us all into a room, there has to be a way to filter out some of the noise. It’s a compounding effect and the chat is entirely useless for its main purpose, finding groups.

Yeah its been pretty bad on the alliance side with Raden (Bene) players; idk if it was the normal to post your message 3-5 times in half a second over on Benediction but all it gets ya here is a quick put on ignore lol

I literally couldn’t read a single message before it disappeared from flooding. It’s much better now that I can just ignore their entire server.

It’s brutal, it is everything I hate about the game rolled into one. I have used another ignore addon, but honestly I want to ignore an entire server, and i think we all know which one.
Yeup its unfortunate; I’m still sticking to individual ignores for now until my list fills up, but I can’t really blame people for ignoring an entire server if the general players from said server act the same 
like almost all of the ninja looting reports from the past week on the discord have been from Raden/Bene players, as well as the spam in-game.
I’ve been looking to do that since day 1 of cross realm. Are you linked to those servers? It’s crazy how much they flood chat. Even assuming I COULD speak a second language (good on those who can btw) I would be seeing way too many messages.
They’re at least half of them, and with at least 1/8th to 1/4 of them being another language. It’s not like I’m trying to be racist it’s just difficult to accomplish a task when someone doesn’t know what they’re doing well enough to do it without communication.
Just filter out Spanish and you’ll avoid 90% of the spam.

Yes i was on Fearlina.
So now im on Nazgrim or whatever its called.
I just use the addon that blocks spanish.
FYI for anyone that cares CrossIgnore seems to be a pretty obvious rip off of Global Ignore, which has been around since day 1 classic era (and even before that in retail).
Its amazing at filtering chat I’ve been using it for years.
Shouldn’t have to though.
I use 2 chat filter addons, one is Speak My Language, which filters anything that’s not English, and the other one is Bad Boy. I can put in words what I want it to filter or phrases, for example, all the spamming, the GDKP spam, or the ones selling boosts. I get so sick of all those constant spamming it was like not stop.
And their boosting spam. I don’t know why but I thought Boosting was against ToS. It’s a shame that it isn’t. The Boost pollution is real!!
