Now that Rets are brutal and much more balanced, the whole bubble thing needs to be readdressed. It was cute back during Pandaria when a Ret couldn’t even get into a 1400 RBG group, but now they’re insane on the deeps so this all needs to be rethought out imo…
Rets cant kite you for a year and do a bajillion damage before the bubble, all while ccing your healer with every freezing trap cd
Hunters play the game on the easiest difficulty available, stop tryna make it easier for them to not play the game. If you wanna be op on a hunter go to literally every other bracket besides max level
It’s obvious hunter needs to be addressed caused Ana so mad about hunter i don’t think she even read the post lol
I may, or may not have read the title, and just started typing lmfao

Hunter is the easiest ranged to play in BGs and Paladin is the easiest melee to play in BGs. They should probably go back to half damage while bubbled for Paladin, though. Offensive bubble is obnoxious.
This message sent to you from inside a block of ice…
Neither paladins or hunters should be doing damage to anyone while they themselves are immune to incoming damage. Think of it as a feature that confers upside to a mass dispel.
It might not be that big of a deal if those two classes were not so notably bursty.
No. I still support a hunter right to one shot a c@ster
I’m curious. Why?
The only good caster, is a dead one. (unless on my team)
Do you find them to be more of a threat than a hunter? Other melee?
Its not that one is more threatening, or more difficult. One is enjoyable to fight and one is not. It’s reminiscent of the original warrior vs frost mage. The warrior is always gonna have a bad time even if he wins the fight itself isnt fun
Not trying to play gotcha, but what makes fighting a hunter more fun than fighting a mage as melee for you?
A hunter while having a similar tool kit, seems in my opinion easier to get my grubby lil hands on. I might get a concussive shot here, or a frost trap there, but typically i can line those up with my cds. Hunter fights feel like trading cds. Every single caster seems to be a gimmick. For example, Frost mage is just melee doesnt get to play the game, Destro lock both punishes you for not focusing them them (by killing your entire team) or punishes you for focusing them (because they are tankier than any plate wearer in the game for some reason). Dont even get me started on fighting the caster druids. Lizards are a joke fight as well. Theres not a single caster i actively enjoy fighting, on just the class to class matchup.
I admit I am buthurt my just dinged 70 affliction lot came within a sliver of beating a 450 geared rival ret when he tried to gank me but I took too long and he got a bubble and a LOH. So sad.
But I took it like a man …(And realized he was probably bad lol.)
If you’re seeing a ret do the bubble/wings thing, it’s more of a gimmick that you might see in a random battleground.
Good rets will still save their bubble for “oh sh*t” moments.
If I get to start at range in camo on my MM hunter, chances are you will die before you can even get into deathgrip range. ;(
It depends on the situation. Popping bubble offensively in a 1v1 isn’t very smart, but using it offensively when you want to kill a high value target while surrounded by enemy players that can CC you to shut down your offensive cooldowns is the smart thing to do.
As feral, I would rather fight a ret than a hunter. I can see a ret coming a mile away and I know once they’ve used their bubble and stun they really have nothing left. Hunters have too many escapes and CC that makes it harder for me to stick on them, and too much ranged damage for me to escape.
