I’ve been enjoying Preservation Evoker from the short bits I’ve played on the beta. Definitely want to add it to my list of healers I am proficient at playing. Am I going to main it? Doubtful, but I definitely want to give it a fair shot.
I’m basing my class/character choice to ‘main’ based on the choices other raid members take.
As much fun as the Evoker might be to play, being 1 of 8 in a raid all rolling need on the same single piece of mail does not sound fun.
I have no interest in a Dracthyr, & my interest in DF is TBD.
Zero. Just doesn’t appeal to me.
I plan to main one, though I’m disappointed at the lack of a tanking option. If it is a terrible fit in pre-patch I may change my mind to shaman or druid or something, idk
Not much of a draw for me at all, I just like collecting and pet battles
Dracthyr seem literally designed to appeal to small kids, two to five years old.
No draw for me. I’m going forward with my warlock most likely.
“Mom can we get a playable dragon race?!!”
“NO we have a playable dragon race at home.”
The playable dragon race at home:
How do they detract from it?
after playing with 1 on the beta the draw is almost non existent. there a hero class and use mail and there so much more squishier than clothies. im not interested in playing a class that struggles to kill 1 mob let alone 2
I plan on maining one. Been excited since they announced it. I’m pretty new to WoW having started regularly playing in Shadowlands. So far I’ve enjoyed ranged classes and wanted to get into trying heals more. Plus I’ve always been drawn towards lizard type races since playing Oblivion many years ago. This is the first WoW race/class that really draws me in.
Time, effort, and money that went into the half finished race with a half baked class, could have been spent on making existing classes better, and making more content that everyone can do.
With out a second thought, i would have diverted all the resources spent on the new race and class into making more content that can go beyond a single class.
100% all toward a player housing system.
I’m gonna try it just to experience it. I missed the deathknight extravaganza I was really into my
Mage and oriest back in wrath. So I def wanna make sure I at least do the pre patch evoker
They look weird, draw lore attention away from more interesting things, require Blizzard to juggle yet another class, etc.
Don’t fit WoW’s vibe imo. I’d rather they didn’t exist. Sadly, it is what it is.
I think it would be more of a draw if I could be an evoker without being dracthyr, and if evoker didn’t have such a limited range. The only way they can make up for that without making evokers just straight up considerably worse than other classes is by making their damage generally higher to make up for it, which would make them OP in places like mythic plus where the limited range doesn’t matter as much. Just bad design all around, especially for a healer spec.
Zero interest.
Dracthyr can’t be DK, so minimal draw
Evokers aren’t DK, so no draw
Hmm I’m def not over the moon about them but i guess i just never saw them as a detriment
No and No. I don’t consider them a draw to the expansion at all. They can only be one class and don’t have any melee specs.
