How bad do you think next expansion will be

Pruning since Mist of Pandaria.
But they can´t prune anymore, cause everything is pruned so much.

So what´s gonna happen next expansion? We might get abilities! But you know ion always disappoints.

When they pruned the talent tree, that’s when it went down hill.

Depends on if you are the type of person that understands that this is nothing more then a game or if you are the type that thinks this is real life.
If the former then you will accept it as the small diversion from reality that it is meant to be and play it or not as you desire.
If the latter then you will be disappointed because it will never be what you want it to be regardless of what Blizz does or does not do.

World of Prunecraft: Rise of Pruning

Well Mop was kind of good, and Wod was kind of bad, and Legion was kind of good, and BfA is kind of bad. So maybe it’s like Microsoft Windows releases and every other one is destined to suck. So the next one should rock right?

Every quest will be time gated, one quest per day.

Time gating has always been rampent in WoW. It just took less obvious forms in the past and players didnt rush as much.

Hopefully it will have a new vision. I don’t think the game could limp along through another expansion of BFA’s quality.

One kill per day, each kill drops an RNG legendary but it will always be the one you don’t need to get into the raid

The only way to level is buy completing world quest now.

You only get 3 world quest per day though.

The big level squish and then there will be complaints about how you hardly ever “ding” anymore and it makes leveling less worthwhile.

I expect more timegating, more pruning, more gimmicky carrots on sticks, and even more welfare gear that invalidates real content.

The supposed justification for a level squish right now is that potential players are so stupid they are scared by large numbers, like “120”. The level squish is supposed to be independent of other possible changes. They’re not going to rework all of questing or quest/dungeon gear in the game. It’s not supposed to speed up leveling. Leveling will seem longer because it will take even longer to level up.

Leveling is already of no value. It imparts zero feeling of character progression. It feels like hazing rather than serving any real purpose in the game.

It’ll be different, hopefully a bit better.
Somehow I don’t agree with the choices made by the current team so I’m a little hesitant. This blizzcon might prove other wise, when BFA was revealed I had a gut feeling it wouldn’t be for me.

How about we see the next patch before we lose all hope in the new expansion.
I dont really care anyways. Im a WoW lifer. Ill be the one turning the lights off on my way out the building.

I survived the flavourless vanilla extravaganza.
I survived the crusade that for some reason they set on fire.
I survived the hordes of lich and thier blue eyed king with the big sword.
I survived the great Cataclysm and the rise of the filthy disgusting oozy goblins.
I survived the trip to teletubby land and some poor visibility weather.
I survived the insanity of the gold market rise on the lands of Draenor, and Yrel.
I survived the green. There was so much green.
I have so far survived even though it looks like the Kul Tirans have eaten ALL THE FOOD.
I will survive through whatever comes next. And I will follow my King wherever he sends me.
FOR THE ALLIANCE!

Well usually every other expansion is good.

Eh, Blizzard’s had a pathological fear of big numbers for a long, long time now. That’s why we’ve seen so much wasted effort on stat squishes - shrinking the numbers then panicking when that discombobulates everything and trying to fix everything that was broken.

All because BIG NUMBERS ARE SCARY YOU GUYS!!! /s

That said, honestly I think there’s more argument to be had with compressing levels, simply because the current system is such a vapid wasteland of levels where you get nothing leveling up.

The next expansion will probably be a big one. They seem to like doing these “housecleaning expansions” in between larger, content-laden expansions.
