I can’t even imagine how bad our characters smell.
Wading in gunk, dirty water, goblin/gnome oil spills, constant salt water and then occasionally we clean ourselves in a clean pond (but this is rare).
There are no showers, bathrooms or anything that would let our characters clean ourselves.
I can imagine we smell worse than a prehistoric caveman with all the stuff our characters go through. Not to mention the massive amount of sweat that builds up. Does anyone in azeroth even clean their clothes? Everyones clothes must be nastier than dumpster diving in real life.
I’m not sure entirely how that would smell like, but must be better than the rotting smell forsaken must always carry with them.
But I suppose like kannil sorta posted, maybe everyone stinks so terribly that no one even notices rotting smells or someone who just swam in a oil slick and came out to get a couple gold coins out of it. The NPCs never complain, so must be a really smelly world.
Which poses the question…is it really bad smells if the whole world smells bad to begin with? No one would even notice.
There’s nature’s showers aka waterfalls. Homemade perfumes (and maybe soaps) made from flowers by the hippies. And I’m sure BEs have conjured up tons of perfume. If all else fails, NB will just create an illusion and none will be the wiser.
