yea it was wild to see. I was dying. dude gets reported by the monk, too. 
we wonder why healers don’t queue. big surprise shuffle ruined the entire rated PvP experience. then, to make it better, we gave the super elitist shufflers pennants and titles! go Blizz go! I’m more impressed with how long they stayed in q for in contrast to winning that high.
How do these negatively impact the experience of the average player?
My memory is a little fuzzy for the specific quote but blizzard basically didnt want to do solo queue because of this. They knew this would happen.
RSS is the result of the community begging for solo queue for over a decade mixed with blizzards typical monkeys paw development style.

It’s probably more that wow isn’t meant to be played like a solo queue/lobby game. Like, you can until you meet people, but you’re supposed to go from there instead of them turning the game into that.

yes, Blizzard, did not want to do RSS. that’s why it was tested (like blitz is now) & for some reason, WHEN THERE WAS NO RATING INVOLVED, people loved it.

Yeah i think thats a good point regarding it. 99% of the good memories i have of this game are grouping with guildies / friends for xyz activity. Never being in a lfg pug or something.
Yeah, pugging is more of an alt/supplementary thing, not a replacement for finding regulars.

But it has the same league phenomenon where people think, “if I just have decent teammates I’ll be R1 easy” and overestimate their actual level of ability.
I remember metaphors saying how as soon as shuffle came out he’d be r1 every spec and all the other healers would be hardstuck and the exact opposite happened XD

Yeah, i just noticed they have a spell lock out too… WTF, when will they give priests some kind of CC or interrupt that we can chill and use. Instead we have to run out like Nile Thornberry and try to fear… Its hotdog water.
